If your boiler is older than 2 years old and hasn't had a strip down service in the last 4 years we would highly recommend a strip service.
Our Servicing Work Is Thorough And We Check Everything Correctly.
Check over system/ problem, advise on what's best then carry out repair.
Any time over 1 hour + any parts will be charged for after the 1st visit.
Time charged for on this service is £85 for up to 1 hour including the travel.

Unvented Hot Water Cylinder Service
• Remove and thoroughly clean any filter / strainer.
• Check integrity of cylinder for leaks or damage etc.
• Check air charge pressure in expansion vessel/cistern, top up as necessary, or check operation of float operated valve in cistern.
• If system has internal type expansion facility, reset expansion gap whilst testing of the temperature/ pressure relief valves.
•Manually lift the lever to operate the expansion vessel relief valve. Check that it opens, closes and reseals correctly. If there is any doubt, replace the valve.
• Manually lift the lever to operate the temperature and pressure relief valve. Check that it opens, closes and reseals correctly. If there are any doubts replace the valve, and ensure the connection is not scaled.
• Check discharge pipes D1 and D2 for blockages or obstructions. Check termination position.
• Check storage and delivery temperature settings and the operation of controls or motorised valves.
• Check sacrificial anode and renew if necessary.
• Check heat exchangers in hard water areas. de-scale or renew if required.
• Check the water pressure downstream of pressure reducing/limiting valve.
• Check water pressure and flow rates at terminal fittings.
• Check and clean flow diffusers on taps (if fitted).
• Explain works carried out to customer.
• When repairing a combination valve it is worth changing the ''O'' ring seal as a matter of routine, as they may become damaged during maintenance. It is good practise to carry a spare set.

-Take combustion readings and if not good adjust gas valve and if still not good advise strip and
clean. (Seals will need sourced)
-Take photo of Combustion readings

OIL BOILER SERVICE
What we will do at your oil boiler service,
+ Check boiler function on heating & hot water
+ Remove burner & blast tube then clean electrodes etc
+ Change oil hose for new long life oil hose.
+ Change nozzle for new one same size or as per manufacturers guidelines for that set-up/burner.
+ Inspect fan on burner for movement or sticking (clean if necessary)

+ Remove heat exchanger baffles and clean all baffles and inside boiler.
+ Remove condensate trap and clean out inside of it with water.
+ Take oil pressure and set if necessary.
+ Check combustion analysis and adjust air if necessary.
Advise on improvements for safety and efficiency.
+ Email Service certificate to client.
Power flush of your central heating system radiators and pipework complete
All parts of your heating system individually flushed using our power flushing machine.
Corrosion inhibitor added to your system after flushing.

- Get prepared , run through steps in your head. or note down.
- Isolate Electricity Supply / Turn Off Controller
- Check Pump has went off on solar circuit
- Connect hoses to flow and return, Flow from pump to be connected to top connection.
- Set gravity Brakes
- Close Flow meter
- Add Glycol to Solar Pump
- Open Flow and Return Valves
- Turn On Solar Pump and Flush for 15 minutes.
- Turn off Return Valve to Solar pump and let pressure build to 4/5 bar then turn off solar pump and flow valve isolator
- Leave for 5/10 minutes and check for pressure drop.
- If pressure drops, search for and fix leak.
- Bleed air point at Pump Station.
- If pressure ok, release pressure from flow valve back into solar pump. (Check with MI's for pressures to set to)
- Turn on solar controller and check operation.
- Check and set Expansion Vessel (Check MI's for settings) normal is 1.5 Bar vessel pressure for 1.8 Bar solar circuit pressure. May need to be done at start when there's no pressure although good practice there should be an isolation point at the expansion vessel.
- Ensure Pressure Relief Valve is working and not passing.
